Fantastic critique. Interested to hear some designers (and design school products) thoughts.
Excerpt:
“Modern design education, on the other hand, is essentially value-free: every problem has a purely visual solution that exists outside any cultural context. Some of the most tragic victims of this attitude hail not from the world of high culture, but from the low. “

This is just a reminder to make sure all display banners built in AdInterax (expandable displays, video displays, overlays with companion displays) need to have a Z-Index set at 800. I’ve already made the adjustment to the templates.

Jumping off of something Christy is working with, we may want to keep these in our back pockets:

Blondes - You Mean So Much to Me. Some pretty cool ambient mashed-up music for those work-weary ears.

The updated Banner Ad Specs is attached. I also removed the audio and video options from the peel.
I noticed Yahoo ad specs still show max dimensions for teaser as 170x170 and that video is allowed on the peel. http://adspecs.yahoo.com/formats.php?id=10
Maybe adInterax does not offer these but others do.
I also noticed that my specs show the 72x72 size under Apps, but it’s not on the Sharepoint PO.
Update: We can do video in corner peels. Revised Standards attached, and will be updated in Sharepoint and theMeganet.

Team,
You may want to be aware of these Super Bowl usage rules. I’ve explained to the stations that we just fill orders and that they are expected to understand where fair use applies and where it does not, so any liability lies with their news departments.
